Kerala State Electricity Board Limited (KSEBL), in collaboration with WRI India, is organizing focused webinars titled “Charging Kerala Forward: A Webinar Series on Building an EV-Ready Grid”. KSEBL has an important role to play to meet the electricity demand of the rapidly increasing EV load. WRI India has been actively engaged in Kerala, focusing on supporting the state agencies including KSEBL developing strategies for energy transition. The first webinar in the series focused on EV growth in Kerala, charging aspects and grid impact was organized successfully on 14 May 2025. The second webinar in the series focuses on ELEVATE, an innovative decision-support tool developed by WRI India. This tool helps DISCOMs to understand the grid impacts of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging on distribution grid.
