Following the successful hands-on workshops held in 8th April ,18th June and 15th July as part of the Integrated Resource Planning (IRP) initiative in Rajasthan. Building on this momentum, the upcoming session Workshop 4: Hands-On Session on Advanced GridPath Model marks the next phase of the workshop series. Organized by WRI India in collaboration with Prayas Energy Group, EMLab (UC Santa Barbara), and Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur, this workshop will focus on strengthening technical capacity through advanced training using GridPath, a powerful tool for long-term, data-driven energy planning.

This workshop will offer hands-on training with the prototype Rajasthan Advanced Production Cost Model, focusing on system-level cost optimization and reliability metrics. It will also introduce a prototype Capacity Expansion Model to support strategic planning toward Rajasthan’s 125 GW renewable energy target by 2029–30. The agenda includes expert demonstrations, a sector overview, and reflections from previous sessions to ensure continuity. Designed for utilities, regulators, planners, and researchers, this advanced session aims to build modeling capacity and support a collaborative roadmap for the state’s power sector.

Join us for Workshop 4 on 13th August 2025 at MNIT Jaipur to gain practical insights, foster peer learning, and support the development of a reliable and sustainable energy future for the state.
